I heard on the radio that Krispy Kreme is now in Bangalore at Phoenix building, in Church Street so I decided to give it a visit. If you are wondering, where Krispy Kreme is, it’s near MG Road and Brigade Road. Once in the Brigade Road, just turn right to Church Street, then on the right side, it’s in the 2nd building from the intersection.

Their signature original glazed doughnut is 50Rs a piece and 60Rs for other kinds, but if you buy in dozen, you’ll be able to save some, so better buy in boxes and give treat to all your relatives who have sweet tooth. If eating at the store, pair your Krispy Kreme doughnut with a cup of espresso or cappuccino, which definitely cuts back the sweetness of the doughnut.

I went to Krispy Kreme on the second day of opening, hoping to avoid the rush, but it was still so crowded when I went. The staffs were giving brochures and Krispy Kreme paper cap to customers. The doughnut factory was see-through and you’ll be able to see how the doughnuts are made, but unfortunately, it wasn’t on when I visited. If you happen to pass by Church Street and see the Krispy Kreme neon sign is on, then check out how the doughnut is being made. I got myself several original glazed, a couple of ring cake, and another couple of blueberry filled. The taste and texture didn’t disappoint, it was what I expected.

I took some doughnuts home for my puppies, and they definitely loved it, when I say loved it, it was shown with lots of jumping, loud tongue-licking, and lots and lots of drooling 😀
